Impulse Purchase

Have you ever bought anything on impulse? Of course you have. Honestly, who could resist a knife that can cut through a shoe or 5 discs packed full of the greatest hits Motown has to offer? But not all impulse buys have to end in fits of buyers remorse and self-loathing. Every once in a very long while life gives you lemonade. Enter the pizza cutter and pan combo. My boyfriend laughed off this purchase before we even left the store, but guess who can’t get enough every time pizza night rolls around.

Busy busy bee, buzzz

I feel like I haven't crossed anything off my "to do" list today except hit the gym in the morning.  Is anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed with life today? In the next couple of weeks, weekends included, I will be busy working on various projects. But for now, I'm going to allot a few minutes to enjoy my afternoon snack. Have a great weekend everyone! Stay warm.

Cheers to a new beginning.

One of my new year resolutions included documenting things about my life that capture my attention. 25 days later, I've finally taken the plunge to start my blog. Funny how determination springs forth from a lack of preoccupation. In an effort to spice up my life, I am designating my spare time working on building my blog.

I am a freshly minted MBA graduate still on a journey to finding a full-time marketing career. If there existed a perfect job, you best believe I am going to find it. I work part-time (from home) for a design firm as a project manager. Nothing beats wearing pajamas when your boyfriend dons a suit and a tie for work. I'm not a trendsetting fashionista, an amazing cook, nor a creative designer. I'm just a simple girl living in NYC and loving every minute of it.

I love everything Trader Joe's, so you'll find that a fair share of my posts will be dedicated to TJ's. In fact, I will start my very first blog dedicated to my favorite wine. During a wine tasting event in grad school, I fell in love with Lambrusco. It's similar to Prosecco, but it comes in both white and red varieties. So when I discovered Reggiano Lambrusco at my local Trader Joe's for less than $6, I squealed like a little girl . And I found these fabulous champagne flutes at Fishs Eddy for $3/each to go with it. There's something about drinking wine out of dainty glasses that add to the taste. Don't you agree?

I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my thoughts and ideas with you.
